This lot includes five New York Times Civil War newspaper reprints dated 1861-1865, printed in the 1990s as commemorative copies of the original editions. Condition is good overall with some yellowing (one paper shows more yellowing on the top half of the front), light edge discoloration, and a few random folds; no major tears or water damage were noted. These were packed in a plastic portfolio and the top half of front paper is yellowed - I assume it was stored in light? The rest of that paper and the other four are more of a regular newsprint color with just some yellowing on the edges. Note these were printed in the 1990's as commemorative papers but are copies of the original newspapers on that date. I took pictures of front and back sides of each newspaper to show condition. I didn't find any major tears or water damage. Other than the coloration noted above and some random folds, they are in good shape.
