These were packed in a plastic portfolio and the top half of front paper is yellowed - I assume it was stored in light? The rest of that paper and the other four are more of a regular newsprint color with just some yellowing on the edges. Note these were printed in the 1990's as commemorative papers but are copies of the original newspapers on that date. I took pictures of front and back sides of each newspaper to show condition. I didn't find any major tears or water damage. Other than the coloration noted above and some random folds, they are in good shape.

This is a set of five reproductions of The New York Times on days that they were reporting major events during the civil war. "The Complete Newspapers as Published by the New-York Times. These are comparative papers printed in 1991 by John Weber / Angle Publications. They are vintage but I am not attempting to pass them off as the real thing as others are doing.
