2001 Whataburger Holiday Train Whataburger Whatakids Meal USED. Buy a single car from the drop-down menu. The 2001 series was made up of five pieces. The Lime green Locomotive features Whataguy and is 5" long. The Orange flat cargo car is hauling the red Heat Lamp Robot and is 4.75" long. The yellow caboose featured Addaboy and is 4.25" long. The train cars had hooks, so the cars could be connected. Whataburger started in Corpus Christi and is now popular throughout Texas, and expanding to other states in the Southwest. Whataburger put out a different train series in Whatakids meals every year around Christmas--I've seen trains from 1998 to 2009 (I don't know if there were more years). The restaurant STOPPED putting toys in kid's meals about a decade ago, much to the dismay of Whataburger fans and collectors. As a result of fewer restaurants than the national brands, and the popularity and loyalty among Whataburger customers, these toys are limited in quantities, harder to find and more rare. The market prices haven't picked up on Whataburger fast food toys yet, but I expect the toys, ESPECIALLY the annual Whataburger trains series will appreciate in value in the coming years.
