Looking for the ultimate lumber load for your HO scale trains? Here's your product! Made of 4 separately wrapped rows of lumber, this looks and feels like the real deal! Each row is approximately 3 scale feet tall and 72 feet long. Each row features a mix of 8, 12, and 16 foot lumber bunks, with a gap in the top row to simulate protypical applications. I can also build with a solid top row on request. Stickers are applied between each row, then the rows are stacked and wrapped.Each lumber load is made from solid maple and wrapped in a high-quality paper veneer. Each load also features separately applied banding and magnetic attachment for each half. The magnet is adequate to prevent the loads from falling off the car, but not enough -to damage the cars. Why choose solid wood over plastic? Simply put, weight. Cars loaded with wood weigh 70-100 tons. A model car load should increase a car's weight more than an ounce.
