Marked as an official replica of Pre-Colombian Chancay burial art pottery. Lots of
color and textural interest. This is an NOS New Old Stock item from a shop in Santa Fe, NM, that closed around 1985 and has been in storage since then. See the photos. MARKINGS: Has an ARTE CHANCAY impress under the foot along with a partial stamp with a handwritten model number and artifact number in black marker. As best I can understand, the stamp, it is from a museum or government agency that has cataloged Chancay pottery and shows that this is an official or authorized replica. See the photos.
