This is a vintage piece of feed sack fabric featuring wonderful Byzantine-style animals and plants in aqua or turquoise, brown, magenta and lime green. There is some age discoloration along one edge and a 1/2" slit near an edge. One raveled edge is uneven. The cotton is a wide weave cotton. Two edges are selvage and the other edges are a raveled edge. The seam marks are evident. The fabric measures 37-1/2" by 45". This feed sack is part of the Living Estate of widely respected Sharon Stark of Sharon's Antiques Vintage Fabrics and Textiles of Eastern PA. She was an author and long time collector and dealer of antique quilts, fabrics and textiles. Sharon is an authority on feed sacks.
