DESCRIPTION: EX RARE Old Original JUANA Sample Cigar Label - YOUNG WOMAN - LION - EAGLE G. Merz & Son, Chicago, IL SIZE: Measures approximately 6 1/2 x 10 inches CONDITION: Please look closely at high resolution scans for condition. This stunning, extremely rare sample label has a small, hard crease and small tear in the upper left corner. In addition, light soiling, creasing, edge and corner wear. It has two punch holes along left edge from being in a salesman's sample book. It has been graded in very fine (VF 6) condition and professionally put into an archival protective holder. Guaranteed old and original. We have been collecting these artistically beautiful pieces of American history for over 30 years. Most pieces were printed in the late 1800's and early 1900's when cigar smoking was the rage and a lot of both talent, and money went into the designing of a label in hopes that it would make the product stand out against all the others.
