RPPC of Killed in action, presumably in France during WWI. There is no information with this image, but it is certainly interesting. At first, I thought it was American Airborne, but on close inspection, the overcoats may be French. It appears that there are goggles on the helmet or what may be a leather flight helmet? There are no weapons visible, it appears that the bodies have been searched as papers and other matter are scattered about them. Could they have been observers in an balloon?Image is good, one main crease in center, not badly affecting the image.View all photos for condition.
