CLAUDE LAKEY L8 Trumpet mthp GOLD RIM/CUP shallow 28 thr REEVES PURVIANCE I've gotta say that these 2 are amongst the crazier things i've seen.....yes that Claude Lakey....sax great BUT also played trumpet.....i have 2 theories on these.....they're either custom pieces made for him....or....they were made for him and sold out of his C&D Music Store north of Burbank.....the cups on both of these are VERY similar to Purviance shallow or medium shallow cups.....a bit too close to be i would imagine anything else....so i believe these were either made by Purviance or....early Bob Reeves.....the numbering is very interesting on this...L8.....on the smaller side around shallower...28 throat.....and it does have a screw rim.....a bit odd as it stops deeper in the cup than usual....both play very well just too small for me......in great shape!!!!EU buyers price does NOT include VAT or dutiesPAYMENT EXPECTED IN 3 DAYS.....PLEASE contact me ahead of time if you need to be outside that timeframe!!!!CONTACT ME WITH QUESTIONS and please visit my other auctions! _gsrx_vers_334 (GS 5.4.3 (334))
