Up for sale are two beautiful pieces of Canadian railroad history. This "Beehive" style glass insulator was originally used to support telegraph lines along the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) tracks in the early 20th century. Marked "CANADIAN PACIFIC RY. CO." around the base and they are classic Aqua (Blue Green). Known by collectors as CD 143.

Material is heavy, thick-walled glass.Good vintage condition with no major chips or cracks. Some light "straw marks" and small internal bubbles original to the glass-making process. Please see photos for more details and to assess the condition yourself. Also be sure and check out the other items I have for sale and message me if you want to combine orders. Thank You.For local pick up, this item is located in North Huntington Beach (area code 92649). I can also meet along the 405 Freeway between Huntington Beach and LAX.
