The product is a 1 oz Vintage Moyco brand dental copper amalgam manufactured by J. Bird Moyer before 1930. This antique piece represents a historical aspect of dentistry. The copper amalgam would have been used for various dental fillings. They used copper in the past, because it had anti-bacterial properties. I thought these might have contained silver, but they do not. The complete instructions are included in each box. All the boxes I have are sealed except the one that has been photographed.
