McIntosh XR19 Refoam Kit This is the correct kit that fits on the Mcintosh XR19, XRT 20, XR7, ML-2C and ML-2M speakers. These speakers have two 12" woofers and one 8" mid bass in each cabinet. Each Refoam Kit includes all the materials needed to repair four (4) woofers and two (2) mids:Refoaming InstructionsFour 12" Large Roll Foam Surrounds (F12-8)Two 8" Foam Surrounds (F8-2)Shims For Centering the Voice Coils (1.5" & 2")Four 4.5" Felt Dust Caps and Two 2.75" Screen Dust Caps1 Big Bottle of Specially Formulated Foam Surround Adhesive *It can be difficult to refoam a speaker without removing the dust cap and inserting the plastic shims. The plastic shims are used to center the voice coil and cone assembly while the speaker is being refoamed. If you do not use the plastic shims, the voice coil may be off center and it may lead to the voice coil rubbing.
