This is a reproduction of a Dahlgren bayonet originally designed by admiral Dahlgren of the US Navy for use during the civil War, as a fighting knife and as a bayonet for the Plymouth rifle, this one is unmarked, great peace for a reenactor or history buff, this knife is pretty much proportionally correct as the original with approximately 12 and a half inch long blade slightly over a quarter inch thick and about one and 7/8 in wide it comes with a nice leather sheath that has a full brass collar and brass tip, look at all the pictures they show the condition and the dimensions and exact item you will receive
