Stunning pair of antique Chinese golden lilies bound feet shoes. Guaranteed authentic, these fantastic bound feet shoes are hand embroidered in silk. They have been slightly worn but the condition is superb. These shoes belonged to a Mandarin's wife from Macau. Parents of upper-class female child had their feet bounded when about three years old. The feet were grown deformed, and the women were never able to walk very far. Mostly stayed in their rooms and sew. If they needed to go anywhere, they had to be carried.
