Truly one of a kind Victorian Mourning Shadow Box with a double frame and original glass. There is a wedding photo in the middle and the wedding veil pictured is displayed in the shadow box. The veil has the original victorian silk flowers and berries. The outside frame is carved wood with an intricate wood and leaf detail. The Gilt inner frame is gold with a leaf / flower pattern, it appears to be gold leaf. There are two funeral floral cards in the bottom corners, one says "Forgotten Thou Wilth Never Be" The glass is broken in the bottom left hand corner, and small pieces of the veil floral is loose in the shadow box. There is relatively little damage to the frame considering it's age, but there are some flaws and small chips to the corners, so please zoom into all the photos for an understanding of the exact condition. Measures 17" wide, 19.25" heigh and about 2.75" deep. *I have another Victorian French Immortelle glass beaded mourning wreath from the same estate listed on my page, that might be of interest. Thanks for looking!
