Blanche Lazzell, MY STUDIO. 1935, original woodcut print on wove paper, initialed in the plate lower right corner. Printed directly from the artist's carved block without any other additions. Sheet
size 8.5 x 5.75 inches. Unframed. Text relating to a different artist printed on the verso. Very Good condition: image itself is clean and unmarked; light toning to the sheet; left edge with two areas of faint staining from staple rust. Published and printed by Paul Smith and Mrs. Harold Haven Brown, and produced in cooperation with the Provincetown Art Association in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. This is an original, authentic block print by the famous American modernist printmaker Blanche Lazzell. Her large, colorful signed prints are very desirable and cost in the tens of thousands of dollars. Shipping is free via USPS Ground Advantage, well protected and packaged.
