The PAM00602 is one of the rarest Limited Edition Panerai watches ever produced. These Pre-Vendome Luminor watches were originally commissioned by Sylvester Stallone, but equipped with the P.5000 in-house movement with eight days of power reserve and a variable inertia balance. This Panerai Luminor Daylight Limited Edition is encased in an "Acciaio' 44mm Stainless Steel case with a stunning White Arabic Dial with gorgeous "Dirty Brown" Luminous Arabic Numeral Hour Markers and Cambered Sapphire Crystal with Anti-Reflective Coating. It has the patented hemispherical lever actuated crown guard. This Panerai Luminor Daylight 8-Days Limited Edition has a mechanical hand-wound in-house Panerai P.5000 caliber movement. Extremely Rare and Highly Collectible.The Panerai P.5000 Caliber movement has a diameter of 15¾ lignes and a thickness of only 4.5 mm. It uses 21 jewels out of a total of 127 component parts. Its balance wheel oscillates at a frequency of 3 Hz, equivalent to 21,600 vibrations/hour. It's rhodium plated with a 3/4 plate and it's constructed with 21 jewels, a double barrel, an Incabloc anti-shock device, and a straight-line lever escapement. Included is a Glucydur monometallic balance and a self-compensating flat balance spring.The P.5000 calibre has a variable inertia balance, its period of oscillation being adjusted by turning the little timing screws on the outside of the balance wheel. Using this system the balance spring is free, without the curb pins which would otherwise be used to modify its active length. The bridge supporting the balance is fixed by two screws beneath which are threaded rings which turn in both directions, the purpose of which is to adjust the endshake of the balance staff pivots.
