***CONTACT ME FOR OTHER QUESTIONS OR IF INTERESTED TO SEE OTHER ITEMS LIKE THIS THAT I HAVENT LISTED YET*** This beautiful painting by Helen Colvig is a rare designing board from 1968. Her original art costume design for Inky's Pastry Shop is a stunning representation of the costumes she designed. This also has been stamped by the Costume Designers Guild; they should have back up records on all of her submitted works. The piece is perfect for any art enthusiast who loves to explore the subject of costumes and fashion. The painting is signed by the artist and is an original piece, making it a valuable addition to any collection. It is about 15 inches by 20 inches and painted on illustration board. Helen Colvig designed costumes for thirty American films and a lot of TV, including Psycho, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Coming to America. She also did costume design for Ice shows... Which is how we got this. A few relatives worked for/with her and was taught by her and we have a small collection of these art boards from her and other famous designers. These are one of a kind and original and signed. Please look at the pics to notice wear and any flaws. This is on illustration board and there is wear/spots/coloration. This would probably be amazing matted and with a frame. I will send protected and insured which will be reflected in the shipping costs.
