Only mined in the Dominican Republic this rare, beautiful material resembles the Caribbean Sea where it is found. Not the easiest lapidary material. I suggest avoiding 80 grit, and put little pressure on it while polishing.

Material will arrive dry and chalky. Please wet it to get an idea of what it will look like polished. The beauty of this material come out as you go up in grit during polish.For those unfamiliar with Lapidary - these are unpolished - but by shown wet they are more colorful and vibrant, appearing as they would be polished.Pics taken with an iphone and LED lighting.
