Vintage brown Silver Cross perambulator from the 50s/60s. These were made for nannies (especially those of the royal houses) to use for their charges when they went out for walks in the park. Silver Cross started in 1877. They are all handmade and are expected to last through a few generations. This model would today cost around $4,500 new. Former owner made a colorful pillow and blanket cover for the dolls she displayed in the buggy. Everything else is original. Great spring for a smooth ride. Bonnet goes up and down well. Some cracks in the hard rubber tires, but they are complete. Very good condition all over. While this item was made for infants and children, I am not selling it for this use as safety regulation are continually changing. Buyer will use as they desire. I will not ship.
