One Planet, One People, Please Seals & Crofts were a Texas soft-rock duo that scored three big hits in the 1970s: "Summer Breeze," "Diamond Girl" and "Get Closer." They disbanded in 1980 after the release of their eleventh studio album 'The Longest Road'. The album opens with "Stars", a heavily jazz influenced track featuring guest appearances from Return To Forever members Chick Corea on piano and bassist Stanley Clarke. The title track "The Longest Road" is an up-tempo catchy tune featuring great harmonies and a wonderful sax solo from Jim Seals. The final of the album is an emotional ballad called "One Planet, One People, Please" with Dash Croft's signature mandolin melodies leading the way.
