Description:Please find for offer a gothic revival carved oak footstool, dating to the second half of the 19th century. This useful footstool is carved in the gothic style and set upon four round feet. The frame is deeply carved with flowers within circular motifs and the cushioned top is upholstered in a red fabric with beadwork depicting a floral wreath design.Dimensions:Height: 15.5cm. Diameter: 29.4cm.Condition:The cushioned top and trim are slightly threadbare and ideally in need of reupholstering. Areas of beads from the beadwork are also missing. One or two small chips to the wooden framework. Age related wear as expected. Overall good.
