This lunchkit features scenes and characters from the popular long-running TV series which aired on CBS for nine seasons. The scenes of the Walton family living up on the fictional Walton’s Mountain in fictitious Jefferson County, Virginia, doing everyday life chores and happenings together. Beautifully provided, once again, by AL artistic director Elmer Lehnhardt (who invented the “deep-relief 3-D embossing” featured on the main panels of this box). No one drew hands with all five fingers so perfectly as Elmer – and his talents are certainly on display with this wonderful TV series box. Front and back main panel graphics are clean and glossy with no blemishes to the raised panels so typical with these vintage embossed boxes. Rim panels are also clean and glossy with a light blemish on one corner. Light rim wear on front - a tad heavier on back - with no corner dents or dimples. Inside is also very clean - and free of any previous owner markings. In overall Excellent plus C-8.5 condition. Thermos graphics are clean throughout with minor rubbings – also in overall Excellent Plus condition. From my personal collection – stored carefully in a cool, dry, smoke-free room away from sunlight.
